The entire reason i play sims is to build with cc i thought it was my fault for downloading something bad.
Sims 4 cc windows and doors not working.
Some cc creators are updating their mods so they can work some others are waiting to see if s4s can create a batch fix to fix the issue.
You can help this process by providing him with links to cc windows doors that are broken.
These script fail errors can break certain parts of the game.

I am getting closer to having a working batch fix for the doors and windows.
Every time players download a new the sims 4 update or patch there s a chance they ll run into a the sims 4 script call failed error.
We have to wait for the creators to update or most likely we all hope including the cc creators that sims 4 studio does a batch fix that you can just run and fix all your doors and windows.
In patch 1 66 139 1 31 ea maxis changed the way windows arches and doors work to allow us free placement of them.
It used to work and then suddenly it stopped working for example cc and script mods are no longer being recognised in the start up folder anymore.

In my last test i was able to fix a clone of one of ea s round windows as well.
The glitch is unlikely to fix itself so you will have to do something to fix your broken sims 4 cc.
For sure the ones that are completely rectangular can be batch fixed.
The update has caused the transparency of custom content windows doors and arches to malfunction resulting in what you see below.
There are also a few doors that are affected but not all of them.

Cc doors and windows are technically still usable but the update means that none of these are rendering properly when placed on walls.
Looks like all the doors and windows cc might need to be updated.
The change to allow for the stacking of windows might seem minor but game code is far more complicated than that.

Recolors may be working fine i know the recolors i made for personal use weren t affected.
