Sims 3 Why Is My Roof On The Wrong Floor

It says you can choose auto roof but when i do that i only get the very front of the roof or the very back of the roof and not the rest.

Basically when you go up one floor and try to build a room wall roof anything really the cursor wants to build on the first floor instead of where you actually want to build. I don t have any coielings but i have already tried replacing them and the two roofs either side above the bay windows don t go through either even though those rooms don t have a ceiling.
