In the sims all structures are limited to 2 floors.

I tried the cheat constrainfloorelevation.
I demolished a house that had a foundation then i re built a different house on the same lot without flattening it.
Flooring comes in many different types including tiles linoleum stone masonry and wood.
For the sims 2 on the pc a gamefaqs message board topic titled can floor tiles be rotated.
A provisional floor tile are automatically created when entrance objects such as a door or stairs have no edge support.
Set to false to allow the tiles of the sidewalk and the road to be modified as well as allowing for the placement of floor tiles on the very edges of the lot.
Or if you have one or more floor tiles too much it goes off the surrounding area and there is no stable base to place the wall.
This may be bypassed somewhat in the sims and the sims 2 by not placing floor tiles underneath the wall enclosed object.
Also done by the moveobjects cheat.
In the sims 2 all structures are limited to five levels including basements and foundations.
Boolprop constrainfloorelevation true false set to false to allow tiles occupied by walls floors and foundations to have their elevations changed.
This will make pitting up a wall impossible.
For the sims 3 on the pc a gamefaqs message board topic titled i can t build walls because it says covered by floor tile.
For the sims 2 on the pc a gamefaqs q a question titled how do i cover the entire lot with floor tiles.
I play sims 2 but the same msg pops up when you have either not placed the correct amount of tiles in the right place.
The sims 3 fixed this by adding a height check.
